Viva Jean Gass

Services were conducted Jan. 18, 2009 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet by Pastor Clay Faircloth. Interment was in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family was Saturday, 2-8 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gass, 81, of Mt. Juliet, passed away Jan. 16, 2009.

She was preceded in death by parents, John and Leatha Floyd; and sons, Wayne Gass and Danny Gass.

She is survived by husband of 63 years, Cecil Gass; daughter, Diana Carter; daughter-in-law, Nancy Gass; brother, George Floyd; nephew, Richard Floyd; grandchildren, Michael, Tony (Danielle) and Stephen Gass, Patty Welch and Shane and Sam Carter; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Michael, Tony and Shane Gass, Sam Carter, Melvin Agee, and Kenneth Honeycutt. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Enayat
