Mr. Bryant, 71, of Old Hickory, passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010.

Survivors include: wife, Nellie Bryant; son, Brian Bryant; daughters, Sammie (Scott) Bell, Melissa (John) Moulton, Pamela (Joseph) Batson and Angela (fiancé, David Kielty) Hedden; brothers, Otis (Julia) Bryant and Darrell (Sherry) Bryant; sisters, Shirley (Arthur) Wood, Diane Miller and Deborah (Michael) Vaughn; grandchildren, Dawn, Ashley, Jacob, Sarah, Paige, Lindsey, Cole, Carter, Conner, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Austin, Aiden and August; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet is in charge of arrangements.



John Thomas Hagar

Funeral services for Mr. Hagar will be private.

Mr. Hagar, 96, of Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010. He was a lifetime member of Dodson Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from DuPont after 42 years of service. He was a fisherman and a gardener and participated in the Senior Olympics for several years. He was the son of the late James Henry and Eva Brent Hagar.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elva Hinson Hagar; brothers, Ira and James Hagar; and sister, Corrine Hagar. 

Survivors include: children, Betty Jean Burns, Christine H. (Harry) Northcutt and Jim (Mary Jane) Hagar; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dodson Chapel United Methodist Church Youth Program, 4107 Dodson Chapel Road, Hermitage, 37076.

Arrangements by Bond Memorial Chapel.



James W. “Hutch” Hutchins

Mr. Hutchins wished to be cremated. Visitation was 3-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at Bond Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Hutchins, 72, of Lebanon, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010. He was a hunter and fisherman. He was hired at Gibson Guitar on March 25, 1963. In 1984 he moved from Kalamazoo, Mich. to the Nashville area to continue his employment and retired from Gibson Guitar on March 25, 2008 after 45 years of service.

He was preceded in death by parents, Austin and Dorothy McNees Hutchins.   

Survivors include: wife, Gail Hudson Hutchins; sons, Kim Hutchins and Todd Hutchins; step-children, Teresa Story, Brenda Stevens, James and Leighsa Basner and Pamala Elliott, all of Battle Creek, Mich.; brother, William L. (Mary Ellen) Hutchins of Wellston, Mich.; sister, Jacqueline Culp of Battle Creek, Mich.; grandchildren, Timmy, Teresa, Tommy, Aaron and Jaimie Hutchins; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Betty Adams, 14270 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, 37138.

Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.



Joey Michael Key

Services for Mr. Key were 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29 at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Key, 29, of Carthage, passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010.

He was preceded in death by sister, Jennifer M. Wade; grandfathers, Bobby Y. Key and Dillard Barnes; and uncle, Bobby Key Jr.

Survivors include: parents, Ray and Rebecca Key Barnes; sisters, Stevie R. Harville and Lori Anne Harville; grandparents, Marion L. Key and Mary Frances Barnes; several nephews and one niece.

Aubrey Gene “Baby” Mitchell

Services for Mr. Mitchell were 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1 at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Sellars and Matthew Neal officiating. Interment was in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Saturday, 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Mitchell, 72,  passed away Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Sarah Spann Mitchell; sisters, Wylene Harmon and Louise Williams; and brothers, Jerry and Robert Mitchell.

Survivors include: wife of 41 years, Polly Hale Mitchell; children, Donna Foster, Trisha Mitchell, Lisa (Eugene) Neal, Elizabeth (Roger) Dyer and J.R. (Janet) Dutton; siblings, Margaret McDonald, Don (Shirley) Mitchell and Edward (Nealie) Mitchell; grandchildren, Kelsey Foster, Marshallene Hooper, Amber and Matthew Neal, Crystal (Nick) Dutton, Anthony Dyer, and Angela Anello; and great-grandchildren, Zachary Anello and James Dyer.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Neal, Nick Dutton, Timmy Mitchell, Steven Hale, Dewayne Garcia and Chad Beard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Drennon, Paul Tramell, Bobby Lax and Charles Davis.

Danny L. Ostrander

Services for Mr. Ostrander will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bros. Larry Smith and Billy Daws officiating. Interment will be 1 p.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ostrander, 58, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.

He was preceded in death by parents, Myron and Mollie Ostrander.

Survivors include: wife, Susan Ostrander; sons, Davis (Christy), Daniel and Dean (Toni) Ostrander; five grandchildren; and sister, Sharon Baker.



Joseph Daniel "JD" Ware

Services for Mr. Ware will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Walker officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ware, 95, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010.

He was preceded in death by parents, George and Nancy Ware; brothers, William, Fonza, Calvin and Norman Ware; and sisters, Velma Hendricks and Alva Shavers.

Survivors include: wife of 26 years, Mary Ware; daughter, Kay Bills (Doug McCaffrey; son, Danny (Julie) Ware; step-son, Dave (Connie) Carver; step-daughter, Mabel Beazley; seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dave Carver, Jarrod Beazley, Jeff and Jason Savage, Robert Posey and David Page.
