Scott Alan Hicks
Services for Mr. Hicks were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Bond Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Grubbs officiating. Interment was in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hicks, 47, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011. He was a member of Gladeville Baptist Church. He was a 1982 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was an agent at Shelter Insurance.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald “Jerry” Hicks, his maternal and paternal grandparents and his brother, Robby Hicks.
Survivors include: children, Bailey, Connor and Emma Hicks; mother, Pat Hicks; sister, Christy Hicks (Jason) Marsden; nephew, Clark Marsden; and girlfriend, Corie Townley.
Pallbearers were Jeff Martin, Don Allmon, Fred Baker, Robert Towns, Doug Bone, Tim Bennett, Tommy Grace and Paul Standifer. Honorary pallbearers were Scott’s Pi Kappa Alpha brothers and the many other special friends in his life that are too numerous to mention.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to an education fund for Scott’s children at CedarStone Bank in Lebanon.
Mayme Carolyn Hollon
Services for Mrs. Hollon were 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at Bond Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Michael Reid officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hollon, 96, of Mt. Juliet (formerly of Hermitage and Coopertown), died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011. A Robertson Co. farmer’s wife, she was a member of the Bethany Class at Springfield Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Ruby Swint Mason. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Woodard Hollon Sr.; granddaughter, Amanda Fudge; brother, E.C. “Bud” Mason and sister, Gloria Wyatt.
Survivors include: son, Richard (Judy) Hollon, Jr.; daughters, Janice (Billy) Warren and Gail (John) Young; grandchildren, Tereese Cloyd, Terrie Fudge, Woodard Warren, Sherrie Hicks, Charles Hagar Jr., Kerrie Lynn Russell and Tammy Hollon;
10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, grandsons-in-law and great-grandsons.
Gabriel ‘Buck’ Alexander Kaupke
Services for infant Kaupke will be held in Arizona.
Infant Kaupke died Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011.
Survivors include: parents, Matthew and Melissa Kaupke; brother, David Kaupke; grandparents, Timothy (Chris) Hofner and David (Lisa) Kaupke; great-grandmother, Jeanette Rogers; god parents, Mike and Mollie Hofner; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents and other family members.
