EAA Chapter 1343 and GTO Aviation, Inc. are hosting a Tennessee Valley regional fly in and expo on Saturday June 23, 2012 at Sumner County Regional Airport (M33). This all-day event will feature a pancake breakfast, live music, catered lunch, displays, vendors, educational sessions and lots of airplanes. Everyone is invited to this free event. In honor of our very useful landmark 2 miles south of the extended center line of runway 17, we are calling our event the Tennessee Steam Plant Fly In.

Gates open at 8am for a pancake breakfast. Vendors and displays will be ready to operate by 9am. At noon, we offer a catered lunch for purchase accompanied by live music by "Flyte Three." Late morning and early afternoon will feature some educational sessions and our vendors will be open all day. We have several manufacturers displaying several types of aircraft as well as avionics, aircraft finishing, and more. In addition we'll have information on learning to fly and representatives from EAA and AOPA, two major aviation associations, will be on hand to answer member questions or sign up new members. AOPA members who renew on site will received a complimentary AOPA Tennessee pin. Aircraft will be available to view around all day, with a mix of warbirds, ultralights, experimental and certificated models. Biplane rides will be available for purchase.

Admission is free, as is vehicle and aircraft parking. GTO Aviation will be offing a fuel discount to all pilots flying in. A group dinner will be held Friday night for early arrivals and volunteers.
