A Nashville teen car thief pleaded guilty Saturday in juvenile court after he stole a car in Nashville and wrecked it in Mt. Juliet after he was involved in a Mt. Juliet police chase.
According to Mt. Juliet police, the 17-year-old boy was charged after he crashed the car he drove into a utility pole Friday at about 11 p.m. on Lebanon Road near Nonaville Road. Officers charged the teen, whose name wasn’t released due to his age, with felony evading arrest, reckless endangerment and theft of more than $1,000 or possession of a stolen car.
Police said he pleaded guilty Saturday to the charges in juvenile court, and officers took him to a secure juvenile facility.
